Today was a gorgeous sunny day so my friend Julie and I decided to drive to our local park and take some photos. There's nothing better than having the sun rays beam down on your back while you're laying in the grass, soo relaxing. It's so nice outside that I can't stand be inside for a second, so I'm currently typing this on our front deck with my shades and a lemonade; life is good. Hope you're all doing well as well! (:
It's finally starting to warm up here on the East Coast which means shedding all of the winter layers. It's been in the high 40's and 50's and it's freaking amazing. I love the warm weather because it means I can bust out my crop tops and shorts with some cool shades. What do you guys love about spring? (:
Also, can we just agree that I am the worst blogger ever? It's been ridiculously long since I've last posted, but Junior year is seriously kicking my butt. All the exams, essays, and not to mention prepping for the SAT's, my body has been through such an emotional roller coaster this past month and probably during this next month to come. But I'm currently on Spring Break which gives me a little time to relax and post some outfits for you guys so stay tuned!
Finally posting something, it's been almost 2 weeks! This past weekend my mom and I took a quick trip to NYC to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology's Junior Day.
Now before I go on more about my trip, can I just take a moment to express how much I LOVED that school? Instantly after walking into the building I felt that 'click', like this was the right school for me. Anyways, while we were there we saw two broadway shows, Cinderella and The Phantom of the Opera which were both outstanding, ate food and shopped! I'll be posting a haul in either a video or just photos of my purchases from my trip. Also, I've been (and still am) sick and bedridden this past week which explains why I've neglected my blog. I promise to have more outfit posts once I get better which will hopefully be soon. I hope you're all having a nice weekend!
It's finally March which means that Spring is finally right around the corner!
Products Mentioned: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Rich Mahogany; this is such a beautiful color and the formula of this cream eyeshadow is so smooth so it literally just glides onto the eye. I picked mine up from Rite Aid, but I think it was limited edition. However, I did find it on Amazon! (: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle; seriously, there are no words to explain my love for this product. You know how one product can change your life completely? That's what this deep conditioner has done for me. It makes doing my hair much quicker and easier in the morning, which is awesome on the day when I'm running late for school. Before I found this, my hair was the texture of what I like to call a "horse's tail". If you guys have ever felt the hair on a horse's tail then you'll know what I'm walking about. If not, it was just really dry and coarse. My hair was also quite wavy, but not the pretty kind, more like the wild and out of control wavy. After I used this for the first time, the texture of my hair was instantly softer, straighter, and easier to straighten or curl. You have to try this out, it's less than $5 at your local drugstore. Hunter Original Glossy Rain Boots; these boots are amazing! Since the weather's warming up, the ground has been extremely muddy so I'm constantly throwing these babies on when I have to walk outside. I never leave the house without having them in the backseat of my car. (: I got mine from Nordstrom. Lookbook.nu; my new favorite go-to website, especially when I'm procrastinating with my homework. If I'm ever in need of some inspiration for an outfit, I'll go to this site. The Carrie Diaries; such an adorable T.V show! If you're a fan of 'Sex and the City' or just fashion in general, then you're sure to love this show. Plus, can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute Sebastian (Austin Butler) is?! Happy March!
Sorry I haven't posted in over a week, I've been pretty sick. It started with just the flu, but ended up spreading to my chest and ribs, but I'm all good now! (Shooting in the snow probably didn't help my recovery, but it was too pretty not to snap some photos!)
I'm so in love with this lace dress from H&M, and I think the scarf adds just the right splash of color to the outfit. Hope you're all doing well and staying warm & healthy! <3
